Today was supposed to be the start of a rigorous revision week. But I think I'll skip this morning's schedule.
My mum woke me up at 6a.m. this morning and said she'd been up since half-four because the cat was throwing up foam every half hour and there was blood in his litter tray and that she had put a warm water bottle in his bed where he was lying but didn't know what else to do.
I swear I've never got dressed so fast in my life.
I went downstairs to find him, head poking out of his den and crying in that awful gut-wrenching way that let you know he was really in pain. He got up and walked over to me still crying and I tried to comfor

This Saturday I attended my first point-to-point race/steeplechase.
My mum woke me up at 7 a.m. and we made our 90 something mile jorney to the other side of the country.
I was introduced to my near retiring guide who had the job of vet assisstant. He explained a few of the rules of point-to-point racing; there must be two doctors, an ambulance, 3 vets (two track vets who took care of accidents on the course and one that took blood samples and identified that the winner was the horse its owner claimed it was) and a 4x4 with a horse box attached. Any of those missing, no race.
