Today was supposed to be the start of a rigorous revision week. But I think I'll skip this morning's schedule.

This Saturday I attended my first point-to-point race/steeplechase.
My mum woke me up at 7 a.m. and we made our 90 something mile jorney to the other side of the country.
I was introduced to my near retiring guide who had the job of vet assisstant. He explained a few of the rules of point-to-point racing; there must be two doctors, an ambulance, 3 vets (two track vets who took care of accidents on the course and one that took blood samples and identified that the winner was the horse its owner claimed it was) and a 4x4 with a horse box attached. Any of those missing, no race.
